Financial Freedom Information

At the Pachamama Alliance Luncheon last Thursday, I met an incredible woman by the name of Tiffany Bass Bukow. There was something inspiring and grounding about her. A confidence, freshness and a sense that she was here to help people. We talked about many things such as family and her imminent move to Brazil with her husband and child.

I was pleased to receive an email from her the next day acknowledging our connection. She had been so inspired that she had blogged about me. I went through her blog and from there to her website, where I realized who she was and what she was up to. She is Ms. Money from MsMoney.com. Her gift to the world is helping people on the path to financial freedom, and she’s especially passionate and a true expert specifically about women’s financial success.

Her website is a well of information and tools geared toward financial empowerment.

By the way, Hilary Clinton cut the ribbon at the official launching ceremony of her website, which has since drawn over 2 million visitors!

Check out her websiteat : www.MsMoney.com

And make sure to read her blog at: http://financialabundancemsmoney.blogspot.com/

Good luck on your path to financial freedom and thank you Ms.Money for your help!

Susan Boyle and The Secret to Her Overnight Success

What’s the secret to the enormous overnight success of Susan Boyle in her two-minute television performance on “Britains Got Talent,” and how can you tap into that same power to positively affect billions of people?

Last week, an average middle-aged woman from a little village in England appeared on a television show with the dream of becoming a professional singing superstar. The room was filled with ridicule and laughter; how could a woman her age and with her physique even think of having that kind of success?!

Susan Boyle stunned the world with her incredible voice filled with Soul, Life, and Passion. And within a week, she has gained millions of fans who are writing to her every few seconds!

Why does Susan Boyle touch us so deeply?
The truth is that we all have a bit of Susan Boyle in us. And this is a story about the triumph of our supreme gifts and talents over our nagging inner critic, imagined weaknesses, and perceived insufficiencies.
It is a story about the triumph of Love over Fear.
Characterized in an older language, it is the mythical triumph of Good over Evil.
Being a witness to that triumph fills us with hope and restores our faith.

Susan Boyle is a reflection of the disowned parts of ourselves that aren’t as glamorous and as easy to look at as our shadows or insufficiencies. We’d rather look away to find something shinier outside of ourselves.
Yet, when we look at those parts free of judgment and give them a chance to be seen for what they truly are, they reveal surprising gifts and unleash their tremendous potential of Love, Compassion, and Understanding.
As a matter of fact, if you look at ANYTHING in the world with curiosity and without judgment, you will see only Love.

What’s your inner “Susan Boyle?” What are the disowned parts of you that aren’t as glamorous?

When asked about her delayed success, Susan Boyle said, “I haven’t had a chance before. But here is hoping that it will change.”
What part of yourself do you need to give a chance?

What makes Susan Boyle so powerful?
The answer is her allegiance is to her gifts and talents.

Where is your allegiance?

What are YOUR gifts and talents?

World Peace Through Relationships That Flourish!

Relationships don’t have to be hard!

I tend to feel sad when I see other people struggling with their relationships, not because they are not meant to be together or don’t love each other, but simply because they lack a certain “Relationship Education.”

I guess you could say it reminds me of my own experiences of suffering in past relationships. One such relationship was in 1992, where my girlfriend at the time and I were sitting at the dinner table having a wonderful time laughing. Then, the next thing I knew, I was leaning out the window screaming after her: “And don’t forget your pizza!!!” as I was throwing the rest of her pizza at her.

Okay…What just happened?!

It’s obvious that with the type of “pizza slinging” consciousness I possessed at that time, I would have been a poor World Peace Ambassador!

One common attribute I have observed in all of my clients is their desire to make a difference in the world. And most of them look at the world as one big lump of chaos and war—as something outside of themselves, over which they have no power and feel hopelessly overwhelmed about.

Here’s the deal. The world is an exact reflection of our collective consciousness. Gandhi said: “Our contribution to the progress of the world must consist of setting our own house in order.”

Start with what you CAN change—Your “Own House.”

1. Look at your relationship with yourself

• Is it gentle, loving, caring, and peaceful?
Or is it harsh, overly critical, demanding, and disconnected?

• If you could make a difference in the world by changing one thing about your relationship with yourself, what would it be?

Take a moment to contemplate and answer these questions…

Commit to changing what you can!

2. Look at your relationship with your lover (or any other close relationship)

• Is it an expression of the Peace you want to see in the world?

• If not, stand up and be your own hero, do something to set your own house in order.

If you are frustrated because you keep getting into arguments, and you feel ill equipped to handle conversations that are sensitive, but would love to be able to share deeply what is not working for you in a relationship while strengthening intimacy rather then separation, educate yourself in Non Violent Communication by getting the book, Non Violent Communication by Marshall Rosenberg. And if possible, join a practice group in your area. There are chapters all over the world, and for those who live here in Marin, there’s one in Corte Madera called the Sunrise Center (www.sunrise-center.org).

Better yet, JOIN US in my upcoming weekend workshop: Conscious Relationships: A Path Toward World Peace, Saturday, March 28th and 29th . Get inspired, learn new skills, develop effective tools, and most of all, find the empowerment necessary in your relationships to experience deep lasting Peace and Love.

If you’d like to get a glimpse of what we’ll be doing in the weekend workshop, I will be giving a FREE introductory evening at the Sunrise Center in Corte Madera on Wednesday, March 18th at 7pm (www.sunrise-center.org/contact.html for directions). Please join me and meet like-minded people. Your presence and participation is warmly welcomed and heartily encouraged. Come JOIN US!

Now more than ever, we need to set our own houses in order and attend to our relationships. Make the commitment to equip yourself with the knowledge, the tools, and the consciousness to successfully build peaceful and loving relationships. The fear of an uncertain economic future is utterly powerless in the face of the type of safety and love that can permeate all of our relationships in this very present moment.

Attend to your love garden.
Sow in the right places.
Water the plants that matter most.
Cherish your loved ones… including your Self.

What’s up with our economy, and what can we do?

Georges Bernanos, a French writer, once said: “Tout est Grace.” “All is Grace.”
I have a little twist on this: “All is Opportunity.”
Every moment, every dispute, every challenge is an opportunity for something — an opportunity to grow, an opportunity to experience life more deeply, an opportunity to connect, an opportunity to create something new, and an opportunity to imagine.

Our crisis is not an economic crisis. It’s a crisis of imagination!

Prior to coming to live in the United States in 2002, I had been touring the world for seven years in order to figure out what this life was all about. People always ask me: “Seven years? How did you do that?! Did you ever run out of money?” Well yes, I did. Right away. But what I never ran out of was my imagination, and it got me through all sorts of challenges, which left me with increased wisdom, peace, and tons of compassion. I traveled the world sponsored by my imagination, and I was transformed.

Our economy is going through the same kind of transformation, and it will require all of our imagination and the imagination of All. Yes, that means YOU too!

It will be an adventure. We will have to venture into uncharted territories. We may feel uncomfortable at times. But what is waiting on the other side is a new world, with restored values and people who are fully alive and who feel a direct relationship between their personal lives, the world around them, and their economy.

This is a path of initiation for Humanity at large. So get ready and buckle up!

These are times where comfort and status quo are perishing and must perish, in service to the awakening of the individual to benefit the whole. We are being called to be leaders!

These are times of individuation in service to the whole. This is the time to wean from the once reassuring security of larger entities. We are being called to full maturity of the human species, one human at a time!

These are the times where hiding behind the creations of others won’t work anymore. We are being called to become the creators we were born to be.

These are the times
of communalization. We are being called together to unite.

These are the times
of full participation. Millions are losing their jobs. The individual is challenged in service to the collective. The collective needs individuals who contribute their full gifts and talents. We are called to imagine!

Imagination is our most valuable asset. It is worth more than all the money in the world, because our imagination has no limits.

What can we do?

- Care for your source of imagination by:
  • Taking time EVERY DAY for yourself. A time that is designated to nourishing your connection with your beautiful Self and Spirit. You know what that is for you.
  • Spending time alone.
  • Immersing yourself in nature at least once a week.
  • Turning toward an art form such as dancing, singing, painting, and so on, to create an opening for the divine to move through you and release your creativity.
  • Playing as an offering to Joyfulness.

- Create a support group designed to support your dream, your individual gifts and talents, and stimulate your imagination. You get to imagine that group, brand new. Think about what would make it fun. (If you’re interested in more information on how to do this, let me know by leaving a comment.)

- Write a list of your gifts and talents to clarify what they are and find a way to express them everyday.

- “Show up.” If you know that there is something that you need to say or do, say or do it!

- Get out of your linear thinking mind and into your heart. Start making decisions based on your gut feeling, rather than the over thinking mind.

- Find a coach or a mentor to make sure that you are living your full potential.

Ask yourself these questions:

- What is trying to emerge within me?
- What am I truly longing for?
- Where am I settling for comfort and status quo rather than acting on my dream?
- Where do I need to course correct?
- What gifts am I withholding?
- What’s next?

Trust the benevolence of our Universe, explore your Heart, trust your Self, generously give Love, commit to experiencing Joy a little more every day, be the Light that you are born to be and let it shine in your community…

All is well.
